What we are doing:
We will be removing the bricks that are part of the beginnings of both the Peak View and Hidden Valley trails at the end of Stanford Ave. These bricks and the underlining base have been damaged over the years by water running down the trails and unable to flow over the curb that marks the end of Stanford Ave. We will replace the bricks with a mix that includes a mixture of ¼ crushed rock.

Directions to the staging area:

Meet at the Stanford Ave staging area.

From southbound I-680 in Fremont, exit at Mission Blvd/Hwy. 238 (after the Vargas exit) and turn left (south) and go under the freeway. Continue about 2.8 mi to Stanford Ave (first traffic light after Grimmer Blvd/Mission Blvd intersection) and turn left and go to staging area at the end of Stanford Ave.

From northbound I-680 in Fremont, exit at Mission Boulevard and go north. After about 0.7 mile, turn right (east) on Stanford Avenue and follow it to the staging area.

Please do not park in the No Parking areas outside the staging area.
